Keeping it safe

Most people using Apprenza are at school, so the site is built to ask for as little as possible.

How the site is set up

  • No profiles, messages or comments: there’s no way for anyone to contact you through it.
  • No advertising and no cookies. Visits are counted without storing anyone’s internet address.
  • It never asks for personal details, apart from an email address if you choose to make an account or get the weekly email. Other visitors can’t see an account or anything in it.
  • Every opening is an employer’s own advert, on its careers site or on GOV.UK’s Find an apprenticeship, and every Apply button goes to that advert.

When you apply

  • Real employers don’t charge you to apply, and don’t ask for bank details to process an application.
  • Check the web address: the advert should be on the employer’s own site or its official application system.
  • If an opening here looks wrong, or leads somewhere odd, tell us and we’ll take it down while we check.
